I'm Duke, owner of Duke's Lounge Café Restaurant, twice awarded as one of Sydney's best cafés in 2012, 2013 and 2014. I'm also a practicing realtor and a marketing manager for a real estate asset company specializing in furnished luxury accommodation.
During the dusk of my business, I was traveling through the United States and Asia for a few different reasons, mostly in search of art and inspiration but more importantly to reunite with friends and family, especially those who've had a part in my most treasured time in my life, Duke's Lounge.
Now I'm merely a soldier of passion just trying to find stable ground again.
But the truth is, I'm stuck as an overqualified hospitality professional and an under-qualified everything else.
I'm lucky to still have people who know me more than who I was, and therefore I've managed to keep a roof over my head thus far.
